Lydia Tsapara specializes in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking and finance. Ms. Tsapara has extensive experience in these areas, having worked for many years as in house legal counsel for some of the leading corporations in Greece.

From February 2003 to October 2005 Ms. Tsapara worked as an attorney in-house in Marfin Group, from October 2005 to September 2014, for MYTILINEOS HOLDINGS, and assumed the position of Head of the Legal Department for METKA INDUSTRIAL – CONSTRUCTION S.A. (ΜΕΤΚΑ) from September 2014 to October 2016 and then until October 2018 for the Lavipharm Group where she participated on the executive committee.

Ms. Tsapara has handled a number of projects and corporate, capital market and banking law matters including (i) gross border mergers and acquisitions, (ii) corporate restructuring, (iii) EPC and Joint Venture Agreements for the award and execution of infrastructure projects in Greece and abroad, (iv) project finance and financing of various projects, including PPP projects, (v) concession companies established for the financing, construction and operation of BOT development (v) complex business cooperation and license agreements in energy and pharmaceutical sector.

Ms. Tsapara  holds a law degree from the Law School of the University of Athens (2000) and an LL.M. Degree in corporate law from Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (2002). She speaks Greek, English, German and French.
