Angelike Nestorides is a partner at Machas & Partners Law Firm specializing in civil, commercial law, litigation & arbitration, Intellectual Property and M&A. Ms. Nestorides, a Greek-American, born in New York, is an experienced lawyer with a proven record of providing indispensable advice to clients and delivering positive outcomes. Ms. Nestorides has advised on a number of issues regarding mergers, majority/minority equity stake acquisitions, corporate structuring and governance, real estate development and project finance, and has performed due diligence work, drafted opinions, negotiated and drafted SPA and shareholder agreements.

Ms. Nestorides has also drafted and advised on a wide range of commercial agreements involving both local and international business transactions including leases, sales of goods, services, franchises, distribution, commercial representation, joint ventures, asset acquisitions, royalty and licensing agreements, and asset acquisitions.  She has also advised on privatization projects with respect to Hellenic Organizations for Telecommunications (accelerated book building) and Thessaloniki Water Supply and Sewerage Company SA (privatization).

Ms. Nestorides enjoys extensive commercial, corporate, civil and intellectual property litigation experience before the Greek courts, where she has represented both local and international clients in a wide variety of matters, including compulsory enforcement litigation. Amongst other, she has successfully represented a major engine manufacturing company in a multi-million Euro action brought by a major shipping company in tort, a large franchise company in extensive litigation with a number of franchisees, a water company in corporate litigation brought by a shareholder seeking nullification of corporate resolutions and contracts. She has also represented a multinational oil & gas company, a number of fashion companies and periodicals in commercial litigation for trademark infringement both before the civil and administrative courts as well as with respect to unfair competition claims.

Ms. Nestorides practice area also includes arbitration. She successfully represented the Hellenic Republic against the Athens International Airport in LCIA arbitration in London regarding a tax dispute. She has represented the Romanian former State Tourism Organization in ICC arbitration in Geneva, Switzerland regarding a financing agreement dispute, a major construction group in ICC arbitration in Paris, France regarding a Kuwaiti construction project dispute and a media print company in an international arbitration dispute before the Athens Chamber of Commerce involving termination of a contract.

Ms. Nestorides has attended a variety of legal seminars including Commercial Trademarks (2002), Labor Law in Practice (2003), Accounting for Lawyers (2003), Compulsory Enforcement in Practice (2005) – Corporate Law (2007).

She is a member of the Board of Directors of Private Brands S.A. and Mantis Informatics S.A.

Ms. Nestorides is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Greece.
