Senior Associate in Civil Law & Litigation
Description of the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to handle a broad range of civil law matters and represent clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution for sophisticated and high-value cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial or settlement
- Draft and prepare any legal documentation including pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances
- Work closely with clients to develop effective litigation strategies and provide legal advice
- Supervise associates/legal trainees and contribute to team development
Requirements:
- University degree in Law
- A strong academic record; Postgraduate degree (LLM or equivalent) is considered an asset
- Licensed to practice law in Greece
- At least 7 years of experience in civil litigation
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and legal representation experience in courts of Greece
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- A proactive and results-oriented approach
