<p>The Greek Golden Visa Program includes two main categories:

<h2>Investment Thresholds:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Minimum investment of <strong>€250,000</strong> all over Greece, in a commercial property (e.g. office spaces) to be converted for residential use or investment in a listed building, provided that its restoration will follow.</li>
<li>Minimum investment of <strong>€400,000</strong> in most areas of Greece, in a single property with a minimum surface area of 120 sq.m.</li>
<li>Minimum investment of <strong>€800,000 </strong>in specific areas of Greece, [i.e. Attica, Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Mykonos, Santorini and other islands with sizable populations (>3,100)] in a single property with a minimum surface area of 120 sq.m.</li>
</ul>
<p><em>In any case the properties acquired under the Golden Visa scheme may be leased as<strong> short-term rentals through digital platforms (e.g. AirBnB)</strong>. Non-compliance may result in permit revocation and financial penalties.</em></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Capital contribution of at least € 250,000</strong> <strong>to a start-up company</strong> registered under the Greek Start up registry <em>Elevate Greece</em>.</li>
<li><strong>Capital contribution of at least €500,000 to a company head-quartered or established in Greece</strong>, except for Portfolio Investment Companies and Real Estate Investment Companies, for the acquisition of shares in a capital share increase or bonds by the issuance of a bond loan, which are listed for trading in regulated markets or multilateral trading facilities operating in Greece.</li>
<li><strong>Capital contribution, of at least €500,000 to a Real Estate Investment Company</strong> <strong>SA (R.E.S.A.)</strong>, which aims to invest exclusively in Greece, for the acquisition of shares to increase its share capital.</li>
<li><strong>Capital contribution, of at least €500,000 to a Venture Capital Company (VCC)</strong>, for the acquisition of shares or in Mutual Fund of Business Holdings (MFBH) for the acquisition of shares, provided that these Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) aim to invest exclusively in companies headquartered or established in Greece.</li>
<li><strong>Purchase of</strong> <strong>Greek Governmental bonds</strong>, with an acquisition value of at least <strong>€500,000</strong> and a residual duration, at the time of purchase, of at least three (3) years, through a credit institution established in Greece, which is also their custodian.</li>
<li><strong>Fixed - Term deposit</strong> of at least <strong>€500,000</strong>, in a domestic credit institution, for at least one year, with a standing renewal order.
<em>*The joint beneficiaries of the term deposit may be the spouse, partner and blood or marriage relatives up to the second degree of the investor.</em></li>
<li><strong>Purchase of stock, corporate bonds, or Greek Governmental bonds, which are listed for trading or traded in regulated markets</strong> or multilateral trading facilities operating in Greece, of an acquisition value of at least <strong>€800,000</strong><em>.</em>
<em>*The condition of the residual duration of three (3) years does not apply to Greek Treasury bonds.</em></li>
<li><strong>Purchase of shares</strong> of an acquisition value of at least <strong>€350,000</strong> in a mutual fund, which has been established in Greece or another country and whose object is to invest exclusively in stock, corporate bonds or Greek Treasury bonds that are listed for trading or traded in regulated markets or multilateral trading facilities, operating in Greece.</li>
<li><strong>Purchase of shares or stock of an acquisition value of at least €350,000 in an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF),</strong> which has been established in Greece or another Member State of the European Union and aims to invest exclusively in Greece, provided that the assets of AIF amounts to at least <strong>€3,000,000</strong> and the AIF and its manager are licensed or registered by the authority that supervises its capital market country in which is based.</li>
