• Duration: Up to 9 months per 12-month period, with extension up to 5 years
• RP Renewal: Applicable (up to 5 years), provided that the total duration of the residence does not exceed a total of 10 years

Intra-Corporate Transfer for managers, qualified employees and trainees

The host entity and the undertaking established in a third country should belong to the same company or group of companies

  • Managers, operational and technical executives of companies engaged in marine research, drilling and extraction of hydrocarbons
  • Employees and legal representatives in commercial-industrial companies (L. 89/1967) and shipping companies
  • Technicians in mines or industries under the terms of L. 448/1968
  • Executives of investment schemes of a strategic investment vehicle

• Duration: 3 years

Public or Strategic Investment Projects (Recall / Invitation Procedure)

• Eligibility:
  • • Third-country nationals employed in public or strategic investment projects of significant economic, social, or national importance
    • Employment contract of at least six (6) months in Greece
    • Remuneration at least equal to the monthly earnings of an unskilled employee, as determined under the Labor Law Code
    • Certification from the competent Ministry confirming the strategic or public character of the investment project

• Quota: Up to 500 third-country nationals per project
• Employer’s application: Required (Recall / Invitation procedure – examined on a priority basis)
• Visa requirement: National Entry Visa (Type D) or entry under applicable visa exemption regime
• Duration: 3 years
• RP Renewal: Applicable (5 years)

Targeted Visas for Skilled Professionals

• Specialized Technical Personnel Visa (Z.13)
• Applicable to specialized technical personnel employed in technology, pharmaceutical, and industrial projects with a total budget exceeding €10 million
• Employer sponsorship required
• Provides eligibility for transition to:
• E.1 Residence Permit (EU Blue Card), or
• E.4 Residence Permit (Work Residence Permit), subject to fulfillment of statutory conditions

Tech Visa (Z.13A)

• Applicable to highly qualified professionals employed by startups registered in the Elevate Greece National Startup Registry
• Employer sponsorship required
• Provides immediate access to employment in Greece
• Duration: Up to 12 months
• Residence Permit Conversion: Subject to the applicable provisions of the Immigration Code

Talent Visa (Z.15)

• Applicable to highly educated third-country nationals seeking employment or intending to engage in professional activity in Greece
• No prior employment contract required for entry
• Allows in-country application for the appropriate residence permit upon securing employment or commencing eligible professional activity
• Visa requirement: National Entry Visa (Type D)
