Once again, the Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum was successfully held in New York City on Monday, 8th December, this year focusing on: “Building on Success: Unlocking Greece’s Investment Potential.”
From our firm, our Founding Partner & Chairman, Petros Machas took part in an interesting discussion on “Transforming Athens & Redefining Investment: The Vision & Impact of the Ellinikon Project” with Odisseas Athanasiou, CEO, Lamda Development, while Partner (Head of Corporate and M&A), Ioannis Charalampopoulos served as moderator for a panel on “Greek Banks at the Leading Edge: The Investment Case” alongside Iason Kepaptsoglou, Head of Investor Relations, Alpha Bank Group, Alexander Blades, Partner, Paulson & Co. and George Katsikas, Managing Director and member of the Financial Institution Group (FIG), UBS Investment Bank.
According to Petros Machas and Odisseas Athanasiou, Greece is experiencing strong momentum in real estate and infrastructure investments, attracting both domestic and international investors. Projects such as The Ellinikon stand out as key examples of this growing interest.
Ioannis Charalampopoulos highlighted Greece’s robust macroeconomic and financial position in 2025, emphasizing economic growth, investment opportunities, banking sector resilience, and capital market potential, making the country an attractive destination for international investors.
We sincerely thank the organizers for hosting such an engaging forum, which brought together key stakeholders from various industries and showcased Greece’s development drive and potential on the international stage.
