Aikaterini Lampou joined Machas & Partners in 2026 as an Associate of the Real Estate practice of the firm, bringing a strong background in complex, high-value transactions and asset management.
She has extensive experience in real estate, corporate, and banking law, with a proven track record in handling complex transactions, conducting legal due diligence, and structuring and negotiating multi-layered contractual arrangements. Her practice also extends to business disputes and regulatory matters, where she delivers commercially focused and pragmatic solutions.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a lawyer at a major systemic bank and a leading loan servicing company, where she worked across the Corporate & Shipping, Business Loan Management (both judicial and out-of-court), and Real Estate divisions. In this capacity, she played an active role in the legal management and optimisation of large-scale real estate portfolios (REO), with a total value exceeding €1 billion.
She has participated in the due diligence of significant transactions, including major projects such as Aeolus and Iris, as well as complex restructurings, developing strong expertise in financial structuring and investment strategy.
In parallel, she brings substantial public-sector experience, having served as Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Thermo, with responsibility for administrative coordination, municipal real estate asset management, transparency, e-governance, and legal affairs.
She has also handled investments in the agri-food sector and contract farming projects, focusing on the development of integrated contractual frameworks that connect primary production with investment, market access, and long-term value creation.
Her academic background combines legal training with postgraduate studies in geopolitical analysis and geostrategic synthesis, enabling her to approach complex legal and business matters with a strategic, structured, and multi-dimensional perspective.
