Athanasia Kogiou joined Machas & Partners in 2025 as an Associate of the Immigration practice of the firm.

Athanasia brings extensive experience in  immigration, investment and real estate law, with a strong specialization in global mobility and tax matters.

Prior to her current role, Athanasia developed a strong legal background in Real Estate and Immigration law at a well-established law firm, focusing on advising on residence permits and Golden Visa programs, and subsequently worked as a Legal Advisor for a multinational company. Her previous internships in both public institutions and law firms, offered her with valuable experience in labor disputes, contract auditing, corporate and public law, agricultural issues, and public procurements.

Athanasia holds a Law Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is currently pursuing her master’s degree  in Public Policy and Public Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Through the Erasmus+ program, she also completed international legal studies in Austria.

Αthanasia holds recognized certifications in DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) and as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) demonstrating her proficiency in the field.
