On 11 November 2025, Greece advanced its foreign direct investment policy with the issuance of the Joint Ministerial Decision No. 64260/2025 (Government Gazette B’ 6009/2025). By virtue of the ministerial decision the screening procedure of Greek Law 5202/2025 has officially been initiated covering definitive agreements for transactions falling within its scope from the effective enactment date of the law.
