Evangelos Zervas is Of Counsel at Machas & Partners. Evangelos is a highly recognized specialist with more than 15 years of extensive experience in a wide range of areas of business, corporate and media law, as well as commercial and administrative litigation.

In 2005, he was elected as President of the Board of Directors of A.E.M.A.R., a company with main shareholders: E.I.I.R.A. (the Association of Owners of Athens Private Radio Stations) and E.D.E.E. (the Association of Greek Advertising Companies), which operates as a joint committee, responsible for the procurement of private bids for the audio measurement of radio stations. He is also Legal Counsel and Executive Secretary of the Board of Directors of E.I.I.R.A., a position he has held since 2001.

Evangelos has successfully acted for international banks and financing Institutions, for a wide range of commercial companies on drafting, commenting and negotiating commercial contracts, on statutory compliance and on commercial litigation, for TV and radio stations on statutory compliance and intellectual property and neighboring rights. He has also acted for a leading trademark litigation case before the Committee of the Ministry of Development and the Administrative Court of First Instance.

Evangelos, for more than 10 years, has been an active member of the Executive Committee of the Association Européenne des Radios, which is based in Brussels, and carries out lobbying for EU Organizations in favor of European Private Radio Stations. He is a member of the Appeals Committee of S.E.E. (The Counsel for Communication Compliance), a self-regulatory body which rules on the compliance of commercial advertisements under Consumer Protection Rights Law.
