Managing Partner

Maria Antoniadou is the Managing Partner of Machas & Partners Law Firm, specializing in Civil, Labor and Employment law. From 2004–2008 she worked as special counsel for the Organization of Promotion of the Hellenic Heritage, where she dealt mainly with the management of employment issues, the negotiation of a business collective agreement and the restructuring of the operational sectors of the business.

Maria has extensive experience representing complex civil and labor and employment cases before Greek courts, and in OMED, as well as in business restructuring with main focus the drafting of collective agreements and internal labor regulations, the renegotiation of employment contracts and reorganization of employment relationships. She has also handled high profile civil litigations with excellent results. She has worked with and provided legal assistance to numerous Public Enterprises, mainly on employment law issues, and has extensive experience in the restructuring and reform of labor relations across the entire spectrum of the private and wider public sector.

Maria also has in depth knowledge and specialization in financial, commercial and corporate law. She has acted as legal advisor to companies in various industries on corporate governance and compliance issues, reviewing the company’s compliance program, revising company policies as needed, evaluating procedures as to ensure they are in line with all regulations.

Maria is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Greece.
